President Trump on Friday slammed two of New Jersey\u2019s most famous faces \u2014 music icons Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen \u2014 as the Garden State dealt with a train strike that left 350,000 commuters scrambling for alternate transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHas anyone noticed that, since I said \u2018I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,\u2019 she\u2019s no longer \u2018HOT?’\u201d the president posted to Truth Social as he flew back to Washington from a four-day, three-country trip to the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About an hour later, Trump called out \u201cHighly Overrated\u201d and \u201cdumb as a rock\u201d Springsteen for going \u201cto a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNever liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he\u2019s not a talented guy \u2014 Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country,\u201d he posted to Truth Social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis dried out \u2018prune\u2019 of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that\u2019s just \u2018standard fare.\u2019 Then we\u2019ll all see how it goes for him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boss \u2014 who was born in Long Branch and raised in Freehold \u2014 lambasted Trump\u2019s administration as \u201ccorrupt, incompetent and treasonous\u201d while kicking off the European leg of his \u201cLand of Hope and Dreams\u201d tour in Manchester, England this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swift, who cut her teeth performing at a coffee shop near her family\u2019s vacation home in Stone Harbor, earned Trump\u2019s ire last summer when she publicly endorsed then-Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election after backing Joe Biden against Trump in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 35-year-old popstar in her endorsement announcement called Harris \u201ca steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swift, who wrapped up her record-smashing Eras Tour late last year, has been largely staying out of the spotlight in 2025, aside from appearances supporting boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump and Swift were both in attendance at the Feb. 9 Super Bowl in New Orleans, with the president trolling the pop star after Kelce\u2019s Chiefs were defeated 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
