Hunter Metcalf choked back his tears as he explained the heartbreaking moment he desperately tried to stop the blood from gushing from the heart of his twin brother Austin, who was stabbed to death at a high school track meet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On April 2, about 10 a.m., Hunter was with his twin<\/a> brother Austin, a star athlete who was competing in discus throw and shot-put events at a track meet, held at the David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did everything together. You name anything in the world, it\u2019s always us two. We were always basically one person,\u201d Hunter said of him and Austin, the football MVP for the team the two played.<\/p>\n

Hunter, born four minutes after Austin, explained that him and his twin \u2013 both juniors at Memorial High School outside Dallas \u2013 were in the school\u2019s tent when a student from another school decided to enter.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis kid was sitting under out tent at track, we asked him to move. He started getting aggressive and talking reckless and my brother stepped in and said, \u2018you need to move,\u2019\u201d Hunter told ABC affiliate WFAA<\/a> in a heartbreaking interview. \u201cAnd he\u2019s like, \u2018Make me move.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I tried to help him\u2019<\/h2>\n

According to a witness<\/a>, the other student \u2013 identified as Anthony Karmel from Centennial High School \u2013 told Austin, \u201ctouch me and see what happens.\u201d Then he allegedly reached into his \u00a0backpack and pulled out a black knife and stabbed<\/a> the twin once in the chest before running away.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to whip around as fast as I could. I didn\u2019t see the stab\u2026but then I looked at my brother\u2026 and I\u2019m not going to talk about the rest. I tried to help him,\u201d a teary-eyed Hunter said, adding that tried to save his brother\u2019s life by stopping the blood.<\/p>\n
