of\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a059\u00a0between the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0and\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>He was joined by special guest and R&amp;B singer\u00a0SZA\u00a0as the performance was praised by fans.<\/p>\n<p>After the Eagles\u2019 40-22 win over the Chiefs,\u00a0NBC\u00a0posted on X, promoting\u00a0next\u00a0season\u2019s\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0which will be broadcast on their network and set to take place at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara,\u00a0California.<\/p>\n<p>Plenty of fans in the comments shared their\u00a0opinion\u00a0that the former\u00a0American Idol\u00a0winner Underwood should perform at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want a halftime show with\u00a0Carrie Underwood,\u201d one wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNext\u00a0year the Super Bowl halftime show needs to have Carrie!\u201d another added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNext year, the Superbowl halftime show will feature Morgan Wallen &amp; Carrie Underwood in a musical reboot of \u201cThe Dukes of Hazzard,\u201d a third added.<\/p>\n<p>Underwood being part of an\u00a0NBC\u00a0production would make plenty of sense.<\/p>\n<p>The 41-year-old has sung the theme song of NBC\u2019s Sunday Night\u00a0Football\u00a0every year since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for Underwood, the eight-time Grammy winner suffered a huge technical error during her inauguration performance.<\/p>\n<p>There were several seconds of awkward silence on live TV when the music for America The Beautiful was supposed to be playing.<\/p>\n<p>Underwood, and the whole room, seemed confused at the sequence.<\/p>\n<p>She then belted out the tune acapella and received mostly positive reviews for her performance.<\/p>\n<p>However, after the mishap,\u00a0a source told The U.S. Sun, that Underwood has been \u201csecond-guessing\u201d agreeing to sing at the ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0NFL\u00a0usually announces the Super Bowl halftime performer during the regular season.<\/p>\n<p>The league announced in September that the 22-time Grammy winner Lamar would headline the Super Bowl 59 halftime show in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p>During his performance,\u00a0a protestor was spotted on the stage at the Caesars Superdome\u00a0waving a combined Palestinian and Sudanese flag<\/p>\n<p>The individual, a man, appeared out there for several minutes before being noticed by security.<\/p>\n<p>He then jumped off the stage and ran onto the field before being tackled by a security worker.<\/p>\n<p>The protestor was detained but will not face charges, the New
