FOX News star Kennedy Montgomery has shared a sweet message to Gutfeld! co-host Kat Timpf as she fills her spot on the late night show.<\/p>\n
Montgomery is replacing\u00a0Timpf, 36, in her role on\u00a0Fox News\u00a0for the week while the comedian\u00a0faces treatment\u00a0for her recently diagnosed breast cancer.<\/p>\n

On February 25, Timpf announced she had been\u00a0diagnosed\u00a0with\u00a0stage zero breast cancer just 15 hours before going into labor with her first son with her husband \u00a0Cameron Friscia.<\/p>\n
Two days later,\u00a0Greg Gutfeld\u00a0announced that Timpf would be taking time to treat her cancer and have it removed in surgery during her maternity leave from the network.<\/p>\n
Montgomery, 52, is taking\u00a0Timpf\u2019s spot\u00a0on Gutfeld\u2019s comedy show panel all week \u2013 and shared a sweet video message to the new mom on\u00a0social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are going to channel her goodness and her glasses and we will sprinkle the studio with absolute love and affection,\u201d Montgomery said in a\u00a0video\u00a0posted to X.<\/p>\n
She jokingly added, \u201cYou\u2019re going to want to pay for it, but I only take cash.\u201d<\/p>\n
Timpf responded to the homage with hearts in a post on X.<\/p>\n
It comes after Montgomery, a co-host on Outnumbered and The Five, previously called Timpf a \u201chero\u201d\u00a0in response\u00a0to news of her diagnosis.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou are amazing in every way,\u201d Montgomery told Timpf.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd you were heroic in labor given the day you\u2019d just had! I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n
It\u2019s unclear who will fill Timpf\u2019s spot on Gutfeld! after this week.<\/p>\n

Timpf came to work as a Fox News columnist through the last days of her pregnancy \u2013 even when she was\u00a0past her due date.<\/p>\n
Then, she announced she had given birth \u2013 along with revealing her breast cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t freak out. It\u2019s just, like, a little bit of cancer,\u201d she wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n
The comedian said doctors advised she get a double mastectomy as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

An Unconventional Birth Announcement<\/strong><\/p>\n
Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.<\/p>\n
Now, before you worry, my doctor says it\u2019s Stage 0 and is confident that it almost certainly hasn\u2019t spread. \u00a0Or, as I\u2019ve explained to the few people I\u2019ve managed to tell about it so far:\u00a0Don\u2019t freak out. It\u2019s just, like, a\u00a0<\/em>LITTLE\u00a0bit of cancer.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
Still, it was not a chill day. I mean, to say the least! I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out. By the middle of the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my\u00a0cancer<\/em>\u00a0out. I sat and listened as they told me that the best course of action would likely be a double mastectomy as soon as possible. I asked all the questions I could, including if I could get a copy of my tumor ultrasound to put on the fridge next to the ultrasound of my baby. Finally, by the middle of the night, I was crawling around on the floor of my apartment in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital to meet my baby, whom I\u2019d learn at the time of birth was a son.<\/p>\n
The good news? People who work at hospitals make excellent audiences for dark humor \u2014 and, as someone whose first book was about the power of jokes to get through traumatic situations, there was really no better place for me to be. Just minutes after my boy was born, I was talking with the nurses about what a birth announcement in my situation might look like.<\/p>\n
Should I go with \u201cMom and baby are doing well, except maybe for mom\u2019s cancer, and then maybe the baby after breastfeeding is stunted by her double mastectomy,\u201d and then shut off my phone for a week?<\/em><\/p>\n
Anyway! These next three months of maternity leave are going to look a lot different than I\u2019d anticipated, and I\u2019m still getting used to my new reality. Still, as I navigate new motherhood (and new cancer) I\u2019m learning to celebrate everything I can. I\u2019m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I\u2019m lucky to be my son\u2019s mom. I mean, I know I\u2019m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules \u2014 and not just because he might have saved my life.<\/p>\n
Thank you all for your support, laughter, and love as I embrace this wildly unexpected chapter. Here\u2019s to resilience, to miracles in the midst of chaos, and to finding humor and hope even on the toughest days.<\/p>\n
She added that after giving birth, she was grateful for the healthy baby boy that \u201cmight have saved my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
The political commentator recently\u00a0clapped back at nosy fans\u00a0who gave her unwanted medical opinions and told them she trusted her doctors to give her the best advice.<\/p>\n
\u201cI find it devastating, but I am very grateful to have access to the opinions of many brilliant minds when it comes to breast cancer,\u201d she said about potentially getting a double mastectomy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have been very lucky to have a team that is very knowledgeable on this and the focus of all these conversations is what\u2019s the best thing to do to keep me alive so I\u2019m around for my son for a long time.<\/p>\n
