FOX News anchor Harris Faulkner has opened up about her fears over her two teenage daughters as one of them prepares to go to college.<\/p>\n

The broadcast host, 59, shared her concerns for her two daughters, Bella and Danika, who she shares with her husband,\u00a0Tony Berlin.<\/p>\n

Bella, 18, and Danika, 15, are biracial as\u00a0Faulkner, is Black and Berlin is white.<\/p>\n

Faulkner admitted her fears about racial and political tensions as Bella plans to attend college in the fall.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a person of color, and as a person who speaks boldly about faith, it\u2019s very adjacent when people are hated for the way that they believe, and their position in society,\u201d Faulkner told the\u00a0Daily Mail\u00a0in a recent interview.<\/p>\n

Faulkner and Berlin, a media consultant, raised their daughters in a household with different religions as Faulkner is Baptist Christian and Berlin is Jewish. The two have been married since 2003.<\/p>\n

\u201cAm I more worried about them standing out for their hair texture and their skin color or their faith?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m worried about all of it. And not just for my kids\u201d<\/p>\n

Faulkner continued, \u201cI really think it\u2019s important for Jewish children on campuses to know that they have partners, that the hate on the campus is a microcosm compared with the love that\u2019s out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mom also shared her view that transgender women shouldn\u2019t compete in sports, echoing President Donald Trump\u2019s\u00a0recent executive order.<\/p>\n

Faulkner said her youngest daughter just completed eight years of competing at an elite level in gymnastics.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sport would be very different if there were biological men who could compete against my daughter,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want her to be safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI want her to feel like her best accomplishments matter, and that the competition itself is fair,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Faulkner also added that her older daughter has already decided her political opinions.<\/p>\n

\u201cBella knows who she is and she\u2019s remarkably confident about for whom she\u2019ll vote,\u201d the anchor said.<\/p>\n

The Fox News star also spoke about the\u00a0ratings battle\u00a0between her show, The Faulkner Focus, and ABC talk show The View.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn The View, there is this sort of, shout it, cuss it, do whatever you gotta do to get a little more attention around the hot topics,\u201d she slammed.<\/p>\n

She also called out The View\u00a0Sunny Hostin for \u201cdicey remarks\u201d and for \u201ccoming for her\u201d in a 2018 appearance.<\/p>\n

Last year, Faulkner\u00a0celebrated 10 years of hosting the Fox News afternoon program\u00a0Outnumbered\u00a0after joining the network in 2005.<\/p>\n

Plus, her show ended January with an average total of 2,552,000 viewers, beating out The View\u2019s 2,508,00 in a shocking upset.<\/p>\n
