A new study in\u00a0Frontiers in Psychology<\/em>\u00a0explored how height affects romantic preferences.<\/p>\n

Taller people also tended to choose taller partners, a pattern known as assortative mating.<\/p>\n

The study found that men\u2019s choices changed with relationship type, as they preferred even shorter women for short-term situations.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s preferences remained consistent.<\/p>\n

This suggests height plays a\u00a0more complex role<\/strong>\u00a0in attraction than previously understood.<\/p>\n

Researchers note that using drawings and height labels may not fully reflect real-world dating,<\/p>\n

but the results still highlight how cultural and biological factors shape partner preferences.<\/p>\n
