She found out about her diagnosis just hours before she gave birth to her son with her husband, Cameron Friscia.
Timpf, a 36-year-old political commentator and comedian, has kept her fans up to date on her cancer journey through candid posts with a humorous tone.
In a similar fashion, Tarlov, a co-host on The Five, didn’t hold back when celebrating Timpf’s surgery with a festive cake.
The cake read: “Titty Free And Fabulous!”
Timpf posted a photo of the cake on her Instagram story on Thursday and wrote: “Tysm [thank you so much] @jessicatarlov !!” with a laughing emoji, a crying emoji, smiling face with hearts emoji and a nail polish emoji.
The Fox News star also posted a photo to Instagram on Thursday of her legs in a hospital gown and her censored feet in hospital socks.
She wrote: “Post-op! They’re honestly not much smaller than they were before I got pregnant,” referring to her breast size.
Timpf also took to X on Thursday, writing, “Chapter far from over. But my healing starts today.”
Days before, Timpf joked about her recovery plans while sharing a photo of herself outside the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, writing, “Once I recover from childbirth, my mole removal scars heal, I get a double mastectomy, get rid of my cancer, have breast reconstruction surgery & am physically capable of getting back in the gym it’s OVER FOR U B***HEZ #MILF.”

“I hope you feel better really soon. The double mastectomy was physically the ‘easiest’ of all the operations I had to have bc of f’ing cancer,” one wrote.
“It was emotionally a total mind f. I’m praying for you.”
Another said: “Sending you wishes for a speedy recovery!”
“Prayers to you. You’re such an inspiration to all of us,” a third wrote.
Timeline of Kat Timpf’s milestone year
Fox News star Kat Timpf has had a rollercoaster of a year as she has navigated being a new mom, having cancer and everything else in between.
Timpf announced that she was pregnant with her first child and reflected on the 10-year anniversary of her mother’s death in an opinion piece for Fox News published in July 2024.
“I feel a sense of unity and solidarity with all the women who have gone through this. If I’m being honest, though, I also feel sadness about there being one woman in particular whom I’ll never be able to share this connection with: my mom,” she wrote in the op-ed.
Timpf’s book, I Used to Like You Until…(How Binary Thinking Divides Us), was published a few months later in September.
Last February, Timpf revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer hours before giving birth to her son.
In her announcement, Timpf said doctors recommended she get a double mastectomy as soon as possible.
Timpf then announced on March 20 that she had gotten the surgery.
TIMPF DEFENDS DIAGNOSIS
Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld shared the news of Timpf’s diagnosis on an episode of his show late last month.
“We love her. We miss Kat, and I’m sure she’s doing great,” Gutfeld said.
He joked, “She’s a tough little bastard.”

While many fans rushed to send their love to Timpf, a few online trolls doubted her illness.
“I would argue whether stage zero cancer is really cancer at all. That’s not a knock on Kat, it’s a knock on our healthcare system and how they are motivated to generate revenue based on these types of misleading diagnoses,” one person wrote on X.
Another person agreed saying, “And it could be hormonal changes. I hope she doesn’t rush into extreme surgery.”
Timpf quickly defended herself, saying, “It’s not hormonal changes. It is cancer.”
“I promise I know more about my own case than people online and do not take life-altering medical treatments lightly,” she added.
