For decades, Whoopi Goldberg has been a beloved figure in entertainment, known for her sharp wit, infectious laughter, and candid conversations on “The View.”

Now, she’s taking her talents to a new venture: a sparkling beverage line called “Whoopi Prosecco.”

We had the pleasure of sitting down with the iconic star to discuss her bubbly creation and get the latest scoop on the much-anticipated “Sister Act 3.”

When asked about her new Prosecco line, Whoopi shared that it was a labor of love that took about seven months to perfect.

“We took it to the vintners, and they made it,” she explained, her excitement palpable. “People have been really excited about it and have been drinking it.”

Whoopi emphasized that this venture is part of her journey of self-discovery as she ages. “You know, if you don’t marry well, you got to do other stuff,” she quipped, showcasing her trademark humor.

The star’s candidness about her life choices is refreshing. “Sure, if I had a billionaire, it wouldn’t be a problem,” she joked, “but I didn’t. That’s okay.” This light-hearted approach to her new business reflects her genuine desire to connect with fans. “I want them to think I’m hanging with Whoopi. This is what hanging with Whoopi tastes like,” she said, inviting fans to experience a little piece of her world through her Prosecco.

Whoopi’s vision for her Prosecco is clear: she wants it to be an enjoyable experience without the downsides often associated with alcohol. “No headache, just a little buzz,” she said with a grin. “Just go in my mouth and make me happy.” This playful quote encapsulates her personality and the essence of her new product. Whoopi Prosecco is not just a drink; it’s an invitation to share a moment of joy and laughter, much like the experiences she creates on screen.

As we transitioned to discussing “Sister Act 3,” Whoopi’s enthusiasm was evident. However, she also acknowledged the challenges that have arisen during the production process. “We handed the script to Disney, and now we’re just hoping that someone says, ‘Yeah, we get it,’” she explained. The anticipation surrounding the sequel has been building for years, and fans are eager for any updates.

One of the more poignant aspects of the conversation was Whoopi’s reflection on the absence of her co-star, the late Dame Maggie Smith. “We haven’t filmed it yet, and Maggie won’t be there,” she revealed, her tone shifting to one of nostalgia. “That’s tough. That’s one of the reasons we had to go back to the drawing board because she passed.” The loss of such a beloved actress has undoubtedly impacted the project, but Whoopi remains hopeful that the film will honor Maggie’s legacy while bringing new stories to life.

As Whoopi continues to navigate her multifaceted career, she remains a beacon of authenticity and resilience. Whether she’s sharing a laugh on “The View,” launching her Prosecco line, or working on “Sister Act 3,” her passion for connecting with people shines through.
